Yes, there are rules for RPing - same goes. You must follow them at all times or you will be punished.
* Each post must be three sentences long. Yes, we are mostly a beginner RPG but I think it would be fair that we each have to post three sentences per IC post. It's really not that hard.
* No graphic mating. Just don't. It's disgusting and no one appreciates it. We like to keep all RPing at a PG-13 and below rating.
* No Powerplaying. This is self-explanatory, but all RPGs do it. You can't play the other person's character unless they say so. Even if your waiting a long time for them, obey the rules.
* No Goddmodding. This is basically making your character unstoppable or immune to all attacks. You have to get hurt sometime you know.
* Your Character must obey the higher power. Yes, this is very important. Unless you are trying to make your character a rouge, you character must obey the alpha, beta or whoever else is in charge.
*You may ONLY RP as a character that has been accepted. If you do RP with an unaccepted character staff will have a word with you - and are allowed to issue bans and warnings if not listened to.
* No resurecting dead threads. This means do NOT post in a thread which has been ended, or has been abandoned for about a month, or higher.
*Use proper English. Slang and bad gramar/spelling isn't allowed. Use of these will result in RP tutoring. This is both IC and OOC!
*RPing is in 3RD person only (EG. He/She/It - rather than I/You). 2ND and 1ST person RPing is too hard to understand, and would break away at the understanding of the site.
*Do NOT use smilies. Smilies just DON'T fit in with the atmosphere, and really lessens the quality of the plot. The ONLY exception is
, which is 3 question marks in a row, and ONLY when it is an accident!
*NO OOC POSTS! During IC you are required to only post IC. You are allowed to disgus matters with an OOC section of your post, but make sure that you still have an average-sized IC post. A whole OOC post will be removed, or asked to be modified immediately.
*Insults to other characters does NOT involve the owner. Do NOT get offended by IC insults to your character!
*NO double posting! This means posting 2 posts without someone posting inbetween. This counts for both IC and OOC - and will be sought to imediately! Double posters will be warned, and tolerance will involve bans.
*DON'T kill other characters without permission from the other user. IF this does happen, the character won't be dead, and the culprit of the rule break will be warned, and possibly banned if it persists.
*In combat you are allowed to hurt others, of course, but DO give the other person some chance to defend themselves - otherwise it is unfair, and may involve a warning.
